Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized to move products and materials around on wooden pallets using metal forks which are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump which lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
To prevent loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated with care. Machine must be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet must be carefully stacked to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
In order to release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever located on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and dragging it behind you. It is truly dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you since the thrust could cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
