Introducing the new SRX Platinum Series of reach trucks has become part of the North American market. The Australian launch is scheduled to follow really soon.
The SRX Platinum Series is offered in 3 capacities. These load capacities vary from 1360 kg to 2000. The system was made thanks to intensive operator input on the design. These factors played a big roll to ensure its acceptance into the extremely competitive reach truck market in the United States. The entry and exit to the machine has been simplified thanks to a low step height. The unit's side stance design makes driving both reverse and forward more comfortable for the operator. The model is available with a gently sloped floorboard which is positioned to sit over 4 vibration isolators. This particular design provides a relaxed driving position for the operator during a standing shift. In addition, the SRX Platinum Series provides a cushioned floor mat to provide a ride which is more enjoyable and smoother.
The dual spring suspension system in the caster design adds to the overall smoothness of the drive. The suspension also offers a much more stable operation during use on uneven or rough driving surfaces. The thick padding located underneath the operator's arm further enhances the total comfort factor. There is a cushioned backrest and height adjustable knee pad in place too. The rear overhead guard post and the high operator backrest on the SRX Series provide extra operator protection. This is specially vital when working within tight and around racking locations.
The multi-function handle and the ergonomically and intuitive designed interior of Nissan's forklifts are designed to achieve accurate control while reducing operator comfort. Some of the Operational commands comprise drive, lift and lower, reach, horn and the side-shift or other auxiliary function can be executed and performed by this single handle.
