Narrow Aisle Forklift
Used to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage areas that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular kind is suitable for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, such as warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering really simple.
The operator of this type of forklift generally stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: two in the front, and one in the back. This design allows for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the entire machine. The sit-down version normally has four wheels.
Many narrow aisle forklifts are powered by an electric engine. Machines that are electrically powered do not produce exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the suitable option for closed places like retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Nonetheless, the diesel model is not suggested for indoor use because it could produce exhaust and be quite noisy.
