Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your requirements, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible, many attachments have been designed and made like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
