The global leader in the manufacture and design of a huge range of Peiner Buckets and Grapples is SMAG Germany. Our manufacturing line consists of mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting machines, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, a range of other kinds of specialized lifting devices and single rope radio control grabs.

Up to date, Peiner has provided over 75,000 models throughout the world. Our unique grabs handle a range of materials from iron ores, cement, fertilizers, coke, refuse and scrap, among a range of other products. Our years of experience in making excellent products and the overall designing process helps to enable our client's receive the proven technology their various applications need.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over 12 years within the United States market place. Various businesses such as Waste to Energy, Scrap handling, Steel Mills, and many other material handling facilities including Bulk Transfer Facilities currently utilizing our grabs and buckets to get their tasks done.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around delivering grabs which handle the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is roughly 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting more quantities of supplies faster. The wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components is less. Through a combination of manufacturing with innovative design and high quality materials, the weight ration that is desired is attained.

In order to suit the particular needs of our customer's individual needs, grab sizes range from less than 1 cubic yard to more than fifty cubic yards. Peiner USA Inc. additionally provides a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the units purchased within the USA, along with the addition of new grabs and buckets.
