Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. A variety of industries, from the natural stone and concrete businesses, to the steel business, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all relying on and working with heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power provided by the models keep cost of operation low and provide the very best conditions for efficient work. These machines could excel in the nearly all demanding settings.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp offers the needed power on all of the large capacity models. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and also provides great acceleration.
The operator could use a switch in order to select 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or difficult terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. In addition, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery comfortable to operate and simple to maneuver.
A spacious and comfortable working place is offered by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was ergonomically designed to give a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the unit's overall safety. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on providing the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai machinery are supposed to have.
